• Account information: name, email address, and password when you register
• Billing information: payment details processed securely by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers)
• Content you submit: website URLs you direct us to scrape, knowledge entries, canned responses, and chatbot configuration settings
• Visitor conversation data: messages between your website visitors and your chatbot, including any name or email provided in pre-chat forms
• Usage data: pages visited within the dashboard, features used, and interaction timestamps
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and log data collected automatically when you use the Service

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Process your account registration and manage your subscription
• Embed, index, and search the content you direct us to process
• Send transactional emails such as account confirmations and billing receipts
• Respond to your support requests and questions
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with legal obligations
• Improve and develop the Service using aggregated, anonymised analytics

We do not sell your personal information or visitor conversation data to third parties.

We may share your information with third parties only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: companies that help us operate the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery) under strict data processing agreements
• Legal requirements: when required by law, court order, or government authority
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the acquirer honouring this Privacy Policy
• With your consent: in any other case where you have given explicit consent

We retain your account information and associated data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes.

Visitor conversation logs are retained for 12 months by default. You may export or delete individual conversations from the Inbox at any time.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Service and remember your preferences. Specifically:

• Strictly necessary cookies: required for authentication and session management; cannot be disabled
• Preference cookies: remember your language and display settings
• Analytics cookies: help us understand how the dashboard is used so we can improve it

The embeddable widget may set a cookie on your visitors' browsers to maintain conversation continuity across page loads. This cookie contains only a session identifier and does not track visitors across other websites.

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. These include encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive fields, access controls, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to rotate your API keys periodically.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy law, including the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities
• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a prominent notice in the dashboard. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
